Until the end of the twentieth century, rape was just a weed plant. Every summer resident knows the closest relative of rapeseed, which is called colza. This harmful culture is not so easy to bring out of their garden. This is not a wild plant, but once planted, it is difficult to get rid of it
Rapeseed itself does not cause harm, but due to the high demands on moisture, it literally sucks it out of closely growing plants. This unpretentious plant, quickly rises, does not demand special leaving.
Closer to the twenty-first century, oilseed rapeseed received an important economic status. The reason for this was the development that led to the successful production of biofuels.
In Ukraine, the import of grains is not made, and successfully grown and selected on site. Under laboratory conditions, grain is removed from GMOs specifically for the manufacture of fuel and greater resistance to stimuli.
Features of rapeseed
In industry, rapeseed is grown for specific purposes. It can be natural vegetable oil, green or dry feed for livestock, eco-cosmetics manufacturing, production of biodiesel and technical oil.
Every year the demand for the product increases due to its wide range of properties and the gradual increase in demand for natural non-synthetic products.
There are two types of canola:
- Winter - the seeds are planted in August, closer to frost, the culture reaches 7-8 leaves, which allows it to safely winter. This type of plant does not like too moist soil. The root goes to a depth of at least three meters.
- Spring - planted in early spring, when the soil warms up to 5-7 degrees. The root goes to a depth of at least two meters.
Rapeseed is very valuable for an ecological future around the world. By adding methyl alcohol and caustic soda to the grain mass, you can get a first-class vegetable diesel.

In the first days after the rapeseed is planted, a strong root system grows. Until the culture is well strengthened seedlings and active growth will not. The vegetation period of winter rape is 290-320 days, in spring from 80 to 120 days.
