However, recently significant imports have been carried out from Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Russia – and experts consider these countries to be the most attractive for further work. German analysts believe that Eastern Europe will soon account for up to 54% of the global supply of flaxseed oil and 80% of meal, although a year earlier these figures did not exceed 22% and 56%, respectively.

All manufacturers adhere to special requirements for the manufacture of this product, in particular, they try to maintain the maximum amount of nutrients using the cold pressing method, and the product itself is packed in special lightproof jars. The largest producers of flaxseed oil

According to statistics, one of the largest producers of flaxseed oil, which is the highest quality, is the French company La Tourangelle. It produces unrefined oil, which is obtained by cold pressing. The product is packed in a jar of special protective glass, which allows you to save all the valuable substances of the oil.

Another major producer of this product in Europe is the Belgian company WHC Nutrogenics, which produces non-bitter oil with a longer (up to 6 weeks) shelf life after opening the package.

Also, high-quality products are produced by the Italian company Biologicoils, the oil of which can be consumed without additional processing, fresh.

According to Ukrainian officials, the profitability of growing flax is from 43% to 95%, depending on technology and yield. Not only flax seeds are popular in Europe, but also flax processing products, for example, oil. Up to 650 thousand tons are required annually for residents of EU countries of this product.

At the same time, flax oil supplies from Ukraine to the EU countries are growing annually.

Flax processing consists of several stages, which depend on the stage at which the plant was harvested. Fiber is obtained from the finished plant, and oil is obtained from the seeds. The most useful is the oil that was obtained by the first cold pressing method – it preserves the maximum number of useful properties of the plant, and can be stored for a long time.

Flaxseed oil helps maintain the body during dietary restrictions, has a healing effect, helps the work of the organs of the gastrointestinal tract, and also reduces the manifestation of allergic reactions.
